The San Francisco Symphony's Adventures in Music program – AIM – began in 1988 as a vehicle to enrich the music education to fourth and fifth graders in the city’s public schools.  Today, this free program serves every child – grades one through five – in every elementary school in the San Francisco Unified School District including a number of private and parochial elementary schools.  What are the programs lasting effects?  Recently, Artsvision, an arts consulting group, evaluated AIM and teachers and principals surveyed said that, because of AIM, their students are more interested in music and the arts.  Learn more about AIM and the Program Evaluation by exploring the links below.
